<title>Hard disk replacement</title>
<description>
<p>
  Sunday, December 9, 2007 @ 5:21:13 PM EST
</p>
<p>
  The issues with the primary hard disk in one of our web servers that were identified 2 weeks ago are persisting.
While the server is still working normally, we feel it's best to be proactive and replace the disk att an off-peak
hour.
We will be replacing the drive tonight begining at 10PM. Estimated downtime
is 2 hours. We will post again when the server is back online. This will not affect all customers and email
service will not be interrupted.

<title>Server migration complete - time for a full backup</title>
<description>
<p>
  We've finished moving over to a new server. The new server is still located at Rackspace and will provide the same reliable connectivity and
  excellent up-time ... plus it's brand new so we shouldn't have any hardware problems for years to come.
</p>
<p>
  Now that the new server is fully configured, a complete backup is going to be performed on Friday, August 10 from 12 AM to 4AM. If the drive ever
  crashes, we will be able to quickly replace it, upload the most recent copy of your site, and be back in action quickly. The server must be taken
  off-line to perform this backup. Email service will not be affected. We appologize for the downtime, but feel that this is a necessary
  precaution to ensure reliable service.

<title>IMAP Latency - Resolved</title>
<description>
<p>
Monday, June 4, 2007 @ 11:49 PM EST
</p>
<p>
  The connection issues from this afternoon have been resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience. The problem was caused
by
  a chain of outages with major internet service providers which began last Friday and continued over the weekend,
causing
  a massive backlog of requests which queued on the mail servers. We've taken steps to ensure the load balancers
  will be able to handle this kind of a situation in the future.

<title>Blackberry forwarding issues - Resolved</title>
<description>
<p>
Wednesday, February 14, 2007 @ 8:06 PM EST
</p>
<p>
  We have implemented a workaround so that mail being forwarded to Blackberry accounts is now routed through an
  alternate set of servers, rather than our usual forwarding system. The forwarding issues should now be resolved.
</p>
<p>
  Thanks for your patience. We are continuing our investigation of this issue and will be working with RIM to
  determine why it arose in the first place and what can be done to prevent it in the future.

<title>Blackberry forwarding issues</title>
<description>
<p>
Tuesday, February 13, 2007 @ 10:51 PM EST
</p>
<p>
For the past 24 hours we have been experiencing problems with forwarding email to Blackberry devices. RIM
is throttling these emails, which is causing delays in email delivery times to Blackberry devices. We are
working on trying to resolve this problem, but so far RIM has not been very cooperative. We will continue
to work on contacting the right people at RIM and we will do everything we can to restore the ability to
forward email to Blackberry devices as soon as we can.
</p>
<p>
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
